Assessment
Your first treatment will include a postural and range of motion assessment. This is an important part of the process in determining the right treatment for you. First treatments are slightly longer than regular treatments to allow time for a thorough assessment.

Postural Assessment
Your body’s natural posture is assessed for signs of musculoskeletal misalignments and imbalances. This involves observing your musculoskeletal structures, for example: the alignment of your spine, the position of your shoulders and hips, as well as signs of muscle imbalance.

Range of Motion Assessment
Your range of motion (ROM) is assessed to identify dysfunction of joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments. A series of simple tests are conducted following the natural movements of the body within the full expected range for each joint. Objective testing of ROM can identify the extent of an injury as well as highlight any gradual loss of ROM which you might not have noticed and become accustomed to over time.
